NOMINATE AN ATHLETE

Since 1966, the BC Sports Hall of Fame has inducted 452 individuals and 69 teams. Once inducted, these individuals and teams become known as Honoured Members and Honoured Teams respectively and are displayed in the BC Sports Hall of Fame’s Hall of Champions.

Nominations for individuals and teams to be considered for induction into the BC Sports Hall of Fame are accepted throughout the course of the year until the annual June 30th deadline. Nominations are accepted for individuals or teams in the following categories:

  • Athlete
  • Team
  • Builder
  • Media
  • Pioneer
  • WAC Bennett Award

Nomination Process:

Any organization or individual may submit a nomination form to the BC Sports Hall of Fame. Please contact Jason Beck, Curator and Facility Director, at 604-687-5520 ext. 104 or email jason@bcsportshall.com for more information.

DONATE MEMORABILIA

The BC Sports Hall of Fame’s collection comprises a wide variety of artifacts and archival documents. The diversity in the items themselves, as well as their sources, are part of what makes the Hall’s collection so unique. If you have an item or collection of items that you would like to donate or think they belong at the BC Sports Hall of Fame, we encourage you to get in touch with us.
