Announcing the start of the Open the Door donations campaign
The Open the Door donations campaign begins April 15th, 2024 with the goal of bringing the Digital Indigenous Sport Gallery to every individual across Canada.
This new fundraising campaign is in follow-up to the previous 100 Ravens campaign started in 2019 to fund the creation of the Digital Indigenous Sport Gallery that is now live today. The campaign also helped bring the Indigenous Sport Gallery to over 67,000 students across BC through the Terry Fox: Inspiration in Action lesson plans that are a part of the Hero In You province-wide youth educational outreach program.
Now the focus of the Open the Door campaign shifts to building awareness of the Digital Indigenous Sport Gallery, and bringing the educational content to classrooms across Canada with additional lesson plans and school tour visits. Leveraging the virtual reality technology, we are now able to bring the Indigenous Sport Gallery to those unable to physically visit the Hall, making it accessible for everyone.
Please join us in opening the door to the future of Indigenous sport in Canada for years to come.
